Xavier Derome brings a distinctly French perspective to independent eyewear, drawing on the designer’s lifelong connection to the optical world and a family history in opticianry. Founded in 1996, the brand creates refined, modern frames in France with a playful “Pop // Chic” spirit. Its Plasticdelux collection rethinks traditional eyewear construction, using lightweight cellulose acetate and riveted temples. Faceted cuts, beveled edges, and intentionally organic finishes give each frame its own character—balancing clean, contemporary design with thoughtful craftsmanship.
