Xavier Derome brings a distinctly French perspective to independent eyewear, drawing on the designer’s lifelong connection to the optical world and a family history in opticianry. Founded in 1996, the brand creates refined, modern frames in France with a playful “Pop // Chic” spirit. Its Plasticdelux collection rethinks traditional eyewear construction, using lightweight cellulose acetate and an innovative hinge-free design with riveted temples. Faceted cuts, beveled edges, and intentionally organic finishes give each frame its own character—balancing clean, contemporary design with thoughtful craftsmanship.
